National Future Day

Your Journey of Discovery Through the Museum

On this day, you won’t be a visitor—you’ll be part of our museum team.

What actually happens in a museum before the doors open?
Who greets the visitors?
How is a guided tour put together?
And who handles events, the gift shop, social media, or our website?

On National Future Day, we invite you to get to know our museum from a completely different perspective.

You’ll be right in the thick of things, welcoming visitors from Switzerland and around the world, taking on small tasks, and meeting lots of fascinating people along the way. You can look forward to a variety of tasks, new experiences, and valuable insights.

What to bring: Curiosity and a good attitude! 😊

Is our program fully booked? No problem! Here you’ll find many more exciting careers you can sign up for.

Homepage – National Career Day

As part of the special exhibition ‘A Journey from Dream to Reality’, created in collaboration with Terre des Hommes, we are opening the doors to our museum world and showcasing the diversity of the work that goes on behind the scenes. It is not just about careers, but also about encouraging young people to discover their interests, develop their own ideas and believe in their potential.
